Looking for a world of exciting entertainment? Look no further than Las Vegas – the entertainment capital of the world! An immersive trade conference and Las Vegas themed gala dinner that comprehensively introduced Las Vegas’ offerings stakeholders by bringing the glamour of the city to Shanghai.
Quality Trade Attendees and Business Meetings
We wanted to promote Las Vegas to the Chinese market and highlight its diverse attractions. At the same time, the aim was to reach a broader audience of trade customers in China while also acknowledging existing clients.
Work Hard, Play Hard
A sales mission was organized for travel trade operators, wholesalers and OTAs from Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. Apart from Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, seven partners representing award-winning shows, spectacular helicopter experiences and fabulous hotels shared the many exciting tourism attractions in Las Vegas. Using a multi-level engagement approach, the event was able to offer interaction, sharing and networking on both the macro and micro levels.
- A destination education seminar presented by seven partners led by Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
- One-to-one business meetings for partners with trade professionals that offered opportunities to discuss and strike deals
- A gala dinner with glamourous Las Vegas theme that included a performance by an Elvis impersonator
- An awards ceremony with 20 awards presented to partners to ensure continued collaboration
In addition, the event was an opportunity to host the representatives from Las Vegas – many of whom were first timers to China – and ensure they got the most out of their visit.
